Many know Plan de Corones as one of the most beautiful ski areas in the Alpine region, affectionately known by the locals as Bald Head, offering uniquely wide, long, easy and difficult downhill runs. Ultramodern lifts go into action every year at the end of November and guarantee skiing until Easter time in April.
Fewer people know that Plan de Corones also has a lot to offer in summer, music highlights, gourmet festivals and sporting events at their finest at 2,800m in a 360° mountain panorama location.
The first gondola lift will make its summer debut in 2022 on the 1st of June, followed by the second on the 3rd of June and the third from the 25th of June to the Kronplatz summit.
On 19.06.2022 Edoardo Bennato and the band will open the Plan de Corones event summer.
On 01.07. & 29.07. & 09.09.2022 Kronplatz by night is back in the starting blocks. Unique sunsets, gourmet highlights & cultural moments at almost 3,000m into the night, experiences you won't forget so quickly.
On 16 & 17.07.2022 all bike freaks are invited to the Bike Camp 2022.
On 17.07.2022 the music highlight with Goran Bregovic & his wedding and funeral orchestra.
On 07 & 28.08.2022, none other than mountain icon Reinhold Messner will talk about his experiences. Have you ever had questions about expeditions? Then you will get the answers.
On 07.08.2022 Milky Chance on stage.
On 28.08.2022 Herbert Pixner and Band will immerse the Kronplatz summit in his musical sounds.
On 03.09.2022 this year's Mountainbike Kronplatz King will be nominated.
On 24 & 25.09.2022 you will find the balance at almost 3.000m in best panoramic position at the Yogadays of South Tyrol.
On 08 & 09.10.2022 the bikes will be fired up again, IMBA Italia Gathering is on the agenda.
And in addition to all the events, there is of course always the possibility to visit Reinhold Messner's Corones Museum and the Lumen Photography Museum, to enjoy the 360° mountain view from the Concordia Peace Bell, to quench your adrenaline on the Kronplatz Giant Swing and much more.
