A fiery night in the midst of a fantastic mountain atmosphere is in sight!
For the first time, the Ruis gondola lift, not far from the Berghotel Zirm, opens for the traditional Sacred Heart Night, on 18.06.2023.
An impressive night, an extraordinary experience, the "Sacred Heart Night" at the summit of Kronplatz at 2,230m.
Be there live at this unique night event and experience the adjacent mountain world at a picturesque sunset over the main Alpine ridge and the Dolomites.
It becomes even more spectacular when the Sacred Heart fires are lit on the surrounding peaks, the mountain world glows in a unique fire decoration and you stand in the middle of the magical spectacle.

Did you know that the tradition around the summer solstice has its origins in ancient times? In 1796, the Tyrolean estates pledged to entrust the land to the "Sacred Heart of Jesus" to counter the threat of Napoleon's invasion. Since then, this promise has been commemorated every year by lighting fires.
At night in the museum!
For culture lovers, the unique Kronplatz Museums also open their doors on this evening. MMM Corones by Reinhold Messner and the photography museum LUMEN are always worth a visit. On top of that, a special highlight awaits photography lovers at the LUMEN Museum. A workshop with Lukas Schäfer, get exciting tips and tricks for twilight/sunset photography.
