Why should I - How should I

AND WHY SHOULD I JUST NOT?

Half-board package for creatures of habit or bed and breakfast with lots of flexible options and even more freedom in your free time.
What is right for you?

As we are asked this question time and time again, we have listed the advantages and possible disadvantages for you.
This should make your decision easier, but if not, give us a call and together we will tailor a ZIRMtastic holiday for you!

Advantages and possible disadvantages of BOOKING BED/BREAKFAST:
  • a vacation day can be enjoyed much more freely and flexibly, as fixed holiday periods are no longer a priority.

  • typical "Kaiserschmarrn" tastes much better in an alpine hut or ski lodge when you don't have a five or six-course dinner hanging over you.
You can, but you don't have to, it just feels good.

  • you can easily avoid the usual rush hours in various departments, for example by visiting the pool or sauna in the evening, as the entire spa area is open until 9.30 p.m.

  • if it takes a little longer somewhere out there, amidst the unique natural, mountain and skiing world, no problem!
You're on holiday and have no appointments, e.g. ‘dinner dates’.

  • the variety of dining options offers an exceptional range of choices, so you don't have to eat the same thing every day...
...restaurant, bistro, gourmet plates and much more. WOW, finally some variety!

  • if you decide on the spur of the moment that you'd like to enjoy a bite to eat in our restaurant, no problem, feel free to enjoy a fine aperitif at the Panorama Bar beforehand, your table will be ready for you in no time.

  • table reservations are possible throughout the day, but we cannot guarantee that you will always get the same table.

  • and finally: experience shows that choosing à la carte is ultimately the cheaper option, as you can enjoy exactly as much as you are hungry for.

Advantages and possible disadvantages of BOOKING WITH HALF-BOARD PACKAGE:
  • the half board flat rate makes sense if it is important to you that you can always sit at exactly the same restaurant table.

  • we will keep your regular restaurant table free throughout breakfast, from 7.30am to 11am, and will not seat anyone else at it twice if necessary.

  • your table will be reserved for the entire duration of your dinner, from 6.30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and will not be occupied twice if necessary.

  • for a fixed price between € 80.00 and € 115.00 (depending on the season) per person per day, you can enjoy three courses from our à la carte menu, which you are free to choose yourself.

  • unfortunately, we cannot switch when booking with the half board flat rate. For organisational reasons, the same flat rate must be booked for the entire period.

It is clear that the advantages and disadvantages of the different options are not entirely balanced.

Therefore, if you allow your brain some freedom and variety, and ideally follow our heartfelt recommendation to book a room with breakfast, you will quickly realise why the rigid half-board option that has been around for decades is a thing of the past.

Our credo: more FREEdom in your FREE time – that's what we love and live by.

Have you taken a look at our à la carte menu yet?

Warning: mouth-watering rollercoaster ride ahead!
Anyone who has already had the pleasure of enjoying it knows what I'm talking about :-)
