Waterfall showers - cool mountain lakes - ice cube baths

Brrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
There are many ways to cool down, but not around every corner.
Even though here in the mountains, at 1,400m, it is 9 months winter and 3 months somewhat warmer (as some mountain people like to say), we have tips & tricks on how to get through the summer fresh & cooled down.

I know, as always, free time is short, but you have to take your time for these pleasant moments of relaxation:
Full body peeling - face masks - foot baths ... You've earned it!

Body scrub:
Mix 4-5 tablespoons of fine salt with 5-6 tablespoons of olive or coconut oil and apply to the whole body & massage in.
Leave the paste to work on your skin for another 10 minutes & feel like Cleopatra.

Face mask:
Do something good for your facial skin every now and then, for example with a homemade avocado mask.
Mash the flesh of the avocado with a fork, add a tablespoon of natural yoghurt and a teaspoon of honey, then mix well, apply & leave on for 15 minutes.
The avocado & yoghurt moisturise the skin, the honey prevents impurities.

Foot Baths:
Getting cold feet is not always pleasant, but cool feet on warm days give MegaFreshness!
It is recommended to take a LUKEWARM salt foot bath every day (in the evening or in the morning), yes you read correctly, the water should be lukewarm not cold. You should allow your feet to cool down and purify for about 20 minutes. To give your feet a pleasantly soft skin, add a few drops of olive oil to the water.
Then put your legs up for 15 minutes, you deserve that too!

PS: and if nothing else helps, you know we'll find a fine place in the Zirm for you and in the mountains there are cooling aids around the corner & for free ;-).
